Malik Wafa is a distinguished industry professional with 35 years of experience in the tea sector and is a founding member of Lanka Commodity Brokers Ltd. He began his career at Bartleet & Co. Ltd., where he built a strong foundation in tea broking, auctioneering, tasting, and valuing teas across all elevations, with particular expertise in low-grown, high-grown, and medium-grown teas.

Over the past two decades, he has led the operations of the Stores and Tea Sample Room, acquiring comprehensive practical knowledge of every related process and procedure. His extensive industry insight, technical proficiency, and proven professional leadership continue to be central to enhancing the company’s performance and driving its long-term growth.
