Mr. Wellala joined the tea trade in 1993 bringing with him extensive experience in the tea industry. He has served for over 9 years in two leading broking firms — Somerville & Co. Ltd. and Bartleet & Co. Ltd. In addition, he has spent 6 years at Akbar Brothers as a Buyer/Trader, handling High & Medium, Supplementary, and Dust catalogues. Mr. Wellala joined LCBL in 2008 and is actively engaged in the sale and marketing of Ex-Estate and Dust Catalogue teas,and contributing his in-depth expertise to the company’s operations.
