Shanika Weerasinghe

Mrs. Shanika Weerasinghe is a highly accomplished and results-driven finance professional with over twelve years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, where she graduated with a Second-Class Upper Division (GPA 3.7) in 2015.
She is an Associate Member (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka since 2017 and completed her compulsory audit training at KPMG Sri Lanka, gaining extensive exposure across a wide range of industries.
Shanika joined Lanka Commodity Brokers Limited in 2016 as a Senior Accounts Executive and has since advanced through several key positions, including Assistant Accountant, Accountant, and Finance Manager. She currently serves as the Acting Chief Financial Officer, overseeing core financial operations and strategic planning.
In 2025, Shanika completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of West London, further strengthening her leadership capabilities and financial expertise to drive sustainable business growth.
