Mr. Wickremanayake entered the tea trade in 1983 at Somerville & Co. Ltd. and has worked with well-reputed companies such as Sri Lanka State Plantation Corporation, Pussellawa Plantations Ltd., and Balangoda Plantations Ltd. from 1983 to 1997. He has 15 years of overseas experience, having worked in Malawi, one of the major emerging tea producers in Southern Africa. He is highly experienced and well-exposed to brokering, warehousing, and plantation management both locally and internationally.
